PRIVATE
Private instruction is designed to provide students with the
highest quality of teaching in a fun and rewarding atmosphere.
Lessons are available to individuals ages five through adult,
from beginning to advanced in 30, 45, or 60 minute intervals,
in the following:

SEMI - PRIVATE
Semi-private instruction is available to two students of
similar proficiency levels who prefer a shared learning
experience. Placement must be discussed with desired
instructor prior to enrollment.

GROUP INSTRUCTION
The Music Academy offers and encourages small group
instruction (3-6 students) in most of its offerings.
Groups are contingent upon enrollment of interested
students with similar proficiency levels and ages,
and available space.

SMALL ENSEMBLES/CLASSES
Students studying privately or semi-privately also
have the opportunity to augment their learning
experience with an ensemble or class of 3-6 students,
to apply or supplement the skills learned in the
private and semi-private training.

LARGE ENSEMBLES/CLASSES
Large ensembles/classes allow 7 or more students
to learn in a large group setting. Private study
is not required to take advantage of this offering.

CAMPS AND FIELD TRIPS
Week-long summer camps, weekend year-round camps,
and holiday camps are available for students of
all ages, structured around musical themes and
areas of study (early childhood, Latino, voice,
jazz, rock, etc.) Inquire at the office for
upcoming camps. Public and private school field
trips to The Music Academy are available, which
include demonstrations and masterclasses by MANC
faculty and students.

PARTNERSHIPS
The Music Academy partners with private and
public schools, colleges and universities, and
community organizations to provide individually-tailored
high-quality musical opportunities to meet the varying
needs within each collaboration. Offerings include
after-school enrichment, school and college credit,
masterclasses, demonstrations, workshops, and
performing series.
