The Music Academy of NC will not hold its annual national string competition this year.  We have decided instead to hold a String Festival for MANC students only on Friday and Saturday, March 9 – 10. The Music Academy of North Carolina Cello, Violin, and Viola Competition will return in 2013.  

All Music Academy violin, viola, cello, and bass students are invited to perform for our Artist Faculty for comments, rating, and certificate at this year’s festival. The String Festival provides a wonderful opportunity to obtain feedback from another instructor, practice auditioning and performing, and work towards a goal.
